A very legitimate question when planning to build a website, is whether or not a professional web designer will be needed. Many times, this is a question clients don’t consider, they figure the digital agency will work it all out, and it should just be included in the price of the website. Here are some questions to ask yourself and your team, to clear up some of the pre-website myths.
A web designer and a web developer, by definition are 2 different things. A web developer takes a design, and writes code to make it function and look proper. A web designer, builds out a design, generally in tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, or InDesign, based on meetings with clients, and what the client has proposed they want for look and feel.
We can work with your design, and only quote the actual development of the website or app, but let’s clarify what a design is:
Our clients can attest to our dedication and online marketing skills. Feel free to contact them and ask about us!
With Schrader Plumbing, our approach was fairly straightforward. They were a new startup business, with no content, images, videos, etc. They needed a full design perspective and branding. We jumped at the opportunity, and incorporated a popping design, brand, and built out custom content, that helped them to gain top ranking for relevant keywords, and at this point, helped them grown from 1 truck to 6 commercial vans. At the time of this writing, they are overwhelmed with business and constantly expanding.
We heavily utilized 3rd party directories to jump-start their business, while building up their online SEO. Through intense competitor research with search tools and hours of dedicated research, we now have them ranking across the board, and with more business than they can handle.
Designing their website and brand, we took colors that went with the trade, and utilized fonts that we felt would best help their specific customers to feel comfortable and stay on track. We spent a great deal of time building out content, our photographers worked with owner John Schrader to get proper photography, and videographers wrote scripts and helped coach John in video production.
With 31000 Ft, we were commissioned to work on various websites, including their in-house site. Working with 31000 ft, we helped them to build out and work on existing websites for their clients, and bring to fruition their web design and web development goals.
BILL GREEN LAW OFFICES:
With Bill Green Law Offices in South Carolina, we were approached to design, develop and launch a new converting website for 2 locations, as well as begin an ongoing SEO campaign, to drive more traffic and online leads.
We began by designing and developing a custom website to cater to victims of personal injuries, car accidents, truck accidents, personal injury, etc. We put a great deal of research and effort into this campaign, to best suit the firm’s needs.
Our development team did a lot of custom work, to build out custom landing pages for every top city in the South Carolina region that the firm services, including functions that displayed custom city menus based on where the visitor came from off of Google. The local feel of the site really helped drive more conversion traffic.
Once the site was approved, we went on to build out 2 pieces of custom software. A live chat software that allowed Bill Green’s staff to answer chats right there in their office, and an e-sign software, that allowed them to sign the contract while still on the phone. We have historically seen up to 50% higher conversions when a firm’s staff answers chat, rather than 3rd party live chat software operators. We also built in the ability to shut off the local chat and turn on 3rd party when the staff was not in the office.
We served their offices until 2016.
